Join me for an educational foraging walk and discover what wonderful wild edibles are growing at this time of year.
The walk includes:
Hands on identification of wild edible (and non-edible) plants, using smell, touch and (occasionally) taste.
Discover how to forage safely and sustainably.
Learn ways to enjoy working with your wild finds.
Discover health and nutritional uses and benefits of certain wild plants, as well as cautions
Enjoy time in nature and a sense of community.
Cost:
£12pp
£25 for a family pass (2 adults, 2 children)
All children must be accompanied by an adult
Weather guidance:
We will walk whatever the weather, unless it is too wild to stay safe. So please arrive with appropriate footwear and clothing, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
You may bring your dog if it is well-behaved and kept on a lead for the duration.
There will be toilets available at the start and end of the walk.
Free parking is available at our meeting point (Winscombe Recreation Ground)
If you need to cancel the walk for any reason, you will receive a credit for another walk on a date you can make.
